I’m a 22 year old not-quite graduate who spends far too much time on the internet. When I’m not surgically attached to my laptop, I pass for a functional human being.

I like history, books, games, most music, and baking. I also like makeup, which caused me to start blogging in the first place. This year, I gave up makeup for Lent, and chronicled the experience on a Tumblr blog-thing (found here). I had flirted with the idea of blogging before that, but had never quite got going – now, I love it and feel bad when a few days go by and I forget to write. This blog is a progression and development from that Tumblr-thing, but it’s also a lot more than that.

This is a joint effort between myself and my boyfriend, here known as Djones. We’ve been together for just over a year, and a pretty damn awesome year it’s been at that. Whilst it’s undeniable that this is a ‘couples’ blog, I don’t like to think of it as such – it’s a blog by two very different, yet very similar people. From me, you can expect general rambling, recipies, makeup talk and an awful lot of nail varnish. There will probably be quite a few photographs as well, as photography is something I am growing to enjoy, even if all I have to carry it out with is an old Nikon point and click, and an iPhone with various apps.

Did I mention the rambling? There will be a lot of rambling.
